Here is everything you need to know.
Getting there:
Lindores Cross Country Course, Braeside of Lindores, Newburgh, Fife, KY14 6HU
The venue is situated between Newburgh and Lindores on the A913.
From Edinburgh take the M90 to Perth and come off at junction 9 at Bridge of Earn. From there take the A913 to Newburgh. Go straight through Newburgh, Den of Lindores, keep on the main road, up a hill – we are the first farm on the left before the disused railway bridge .There is a sign saying Braeside of Lindores.
From Dundee take the A92 after the Tay bridge heading to Kirkcaldy and approx. 11 miles on take the A913 Perth road, through Lindores Village, and we are the first farm on the right after the disused railway bridge.
Once you have turned into the farm drive please bear left towards the farm buildings.

Important information
Parking is now on the left hand side behind the working hunter arena. Turn left before the farm yard. Electric hook ups are also now situated in this car park. (Please note hook up is now £15 per night)
The toilets are situated to the right of the bothy.
Tea, coffee and a light lunch is provided but please feel free to bring additional supplies. If you are staying overnight there are cooking facilities (oven and microwave) or there are several local take-aways the details of which can be found in the Bothy.
If you have any food allergies please let us know on the form at the bottom of the page.
Please bring clothing for all weathers.
Stabling:
Day stabling is included for the single days (if you have booked two days of camp stabling on the night between the two days is included) if you wish to stable the night before this is an additional £20 which can be paid via bacs. There will be straw available to use, please ensure you muck out your stable at the end of the say, taking out all bedding and sweeping the floor.
For yourself you WILL NEED
- A hat which meets the current safety standards
- Suitable footwear / chaps
- In addition we recommend
- Gloves
- Whip
- Spurs (if needed)
- Waterproofs
- Whilst riding, you will be expected to wear the correct safety dress.
- Spare/warm clothes
Timetable:
The timetable will be available w/c 1st June.
Rules:
The safety of those around us is paramount. Please be a conscientious rider and camper to ensure that everyone has fun.
The welfare of your horse is also a priority. Please ensure that they have access to clean water at all times, that they are fed in plenty of time before your first lesson and are cooled off correctly after all lessons. We are here to help – if you are unsure of something please ask. If you have an issue please tell us so that we can do something about it!!
We would ask that you keep the stables and lorry park tidy.
Camp Clothing
Our lovely new range of clothing is available to order, including ‘Camp Graduate’ hoodies and polos.
Hoodies and Smile and Breathe baselayers are a unisex fit, with the polos available in both ladies and unisex fits.
The stunning new padded gilets, softshell gilets and 1/4 zip baselayers are a flattering (but snug) ladies fit.
Cancellation:
If for any reason we (the organisers) have to cancel the camp you will be reimbursed for the amount you have paid at that date.
